Our Doctors
Curt grew up in Klamath Falls, Oregon; and his very first job was "landscaping" (a.k.a. pulling weeds and mowing lawns).
Curt graduated from Oregon State University's college of Veterinary Medicine.
He came to work at Redmond Vet in 1983, and has a vast knowledge and interest in all aspects of veterinary medicine; and in all animals..."great and small." Curt says that the clinic's best asset is the outstanding staff and the great client/patient relationships.
Outside of working at the vet clinic, Curt enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing, camping, working out, and coaching softball. He is a member of the American Softball Association, as well as at Community Presbyterian Church in Redmond.
Members of Curt's family include his wife, 3 daughters, his dog Dexter and Rogue; one rabbit, and his three cats

My life began in Newport Beach, California and I spent my formative years growing up in Santa Ana, California. My favorite TV show growing up was Mash . When I was in elementary school, I was pretty sure I'd grow up to be the Six Million Dollar Man (I also liked that show, especially the bigfoot episodes). You could describe my High School Years as the best years of my life (until College at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and then at Auburn University for Vet School). My favorite holiday is Halloween because I love to dress up and spend the night with my family at Disney's Halloween Party listening to the music from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Musically I play the radio. Ok, I can sort of play the guitar. I have lived in Central Oregon since 1993 but before that I lived in Auburn Alabama. Prior to working at Redmond Veterinary Clinic, my favorite job was a valet. What most excites me about my job at RVC is the opportunity to work with amazing people and share in the lives of my clients and to see the relationship between them and their pets stay healthy. Personally, I am passionate about my family, my relationship with Jesus and serving on the board of Crystal Peaks Youth ranch. When I am not working you can find me swimming, biking and running, along with hiking, sewing outdoor gear and fishing. To date, I am most proud of my marriage to my wife, my children, grandchildren and completing Ironman Arizona Triathlon at age 51.

My life began in 1978 and I spent my formative years growing up in Tumalo. My favorite TV show growing up was Little House on the Prairie. When I was in elementary school, I was pretty sure I’d grow up to be a teacher. You could describe my High School Years as jam packed with so much fun and activity. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because all my immediate family (5 siblings and families) are together and we go out Christmas tree hunting together, eat together, black Friday shopping, eat more and are very Thankful. In my pursuit of Veterinary Medicine, I attended Corban University where I played basketball and volleyball and then continued onto Oregon State and Washington State University for vet school. Musically I play the piano. I have lived in Central Oregon since I was born, but have lived in Glennallen, Alaska . Prior to beginning work at Redmond Veterinary Clinic in 2005, my favorite job was being a substitute school teacher in Alaska. My special interests in Veterinary Medicine include all creatures great and small, I work most all of the Pacific Northwest Horse Endurance Rides and I have found a niche working on Micro Pigs. What most excites me about my job at RVC is the variety in animals to work on and the every changing climate of people and pets. Personally, I am passionate about my family and our relationship with Jesus Christ. When I am not working you can find me coaching one of my daughters sports teams, raising lab pups, riding horses, helping with 4-h projects, teaching children's church or having people over for BBQ's. To date, I am most proud of my husband and two daughters and their desire to serve the Lord as we partner together in this crazy thing we call life.

My life began in 1987. I was born in South Carolina, but my parents moved to Bend, Oregon when I was young where I spent my formative years growing up in the beautiful high desert. My Favorite TV show growing up was Wishbone. When I was in elementary school, I was pretty sure I’d grow up to a veterinarian. I wanted to be a veterinarian from the time I found out there was a job dedicated to helping animals and their people. You could describe my High School Years as a time of learning about life. My favorite holiday is Halloween because I love coordinating costumes for my whole family. We celebrate my son’s birthday the day before and turn the entire event into a time to celebrate and create lasting family memories. In my pursuit of Veterinary Medicine, I attended Oregon State University. Although I love music, I am unable to play a single musical instrument and have no musicality. My husband and I like to tease each other over who is a worse singer (I think it’s probably a toss-up). I have lived in Central Oregon since 2021 but before that I lived in Brookings, Oregon for 6 years after graduating vet school. Prior to beginning work at Redmond Veterinary Clinic in February of 2021, my favorite job was moving irrigation lines in high school. I loved being outside in the fresh air just enjoying alone time. My special interests in Veterinary Medicine include internal medicine, cardiology and ultrasonography. What most excites me about my job at RVC is the opportunity to truly serve people through helping the pets that mean so much in their lives. I am excited to get to know people in the community and build long-lasting relationships. Personally, I am passionate about my faith, my family and being a part of my community. When I am not working you can find me playing at the park with my kids, going for a run to clear my mind or going on an adventure to the lakes or the mountains with my family. To date, I am most proud of my husband, our three kiddos and the life we are building together.
My life began in Bend, Oregon and I spent my formative years growing up in Eastern Oregon, specifically the small town of Union. My favorite TV channel growing up was Animal Planet. When I was in elementary school, I was pretty sure I would grow up to be a livestock veterinarian or a horse trainer. You could describe my High School Years as very busy with sports, rodeo court, 4-H and FBLA. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because it is a time to reflect on what I am grateful for from the previous year and of course, the food. In my pursuit of Veterinary Medicine, I attended St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies and completed my clinical year at Oregon State University. I have zero musical talent. Before relocating back to Central Oregon, we lived in Arlington, OR and enjoyed the Columbia River. Prior to beginning veterinary school, I was a vet assistant at Redmond Vet Clinic. My special interests in Veterinary Medicine include client education, soft tissue surgery, herd management and equine dentistry. Personally, I am passionate about sharing my love of veterinary medicine with youth and encouraging them to pursue their dreams no matter the obstacles they face. When I am not working you can find me with my family in the mountains, on a horse, at a rodeo, in my garden, or at a softball game. To date, I am most proud of completing veterinary school while simultaneously being a mom.
